Motivational Speaker Naseer Khan trains the Indian Army at 1 STC

The atmosphere was electric. When more than 200 invited participants entered the Batra Auditorium, the music pumping through the speakers pulsed beats of excitement through the crowd. The anticipation was high as the lights dimmed and Shiv Priti, the event’s host, took the stage to welcome everyone. Army officers were excited and charged up. It was a new kind of experience. They did things they didn’t imagine they would do during a ‘lecture’. They later said they had never attended such a thing before. It was ‘Transformation’. It was happening at the Headquarters of India Army’s 1 Signals Training Centre. The chief guest was the Commandant of 1 STC Brigadier Mahesh Moolri, and he himself participated in Transformation with huge enthusiasm. India’s leading motivational speaker and Success Coach Naseer Khan was there to train the officers of the esteemed Indian Army.
Naseer filled the army men with energy and excitement with his style of delivery along with music, videos, exercises, NLP and Hypnosis. According to Naseer, “Your yesterday doesn’t determine your tomorrow”. He said he had studied in schools where teachers hardly taught. Pigs roamed around in the school ground. They were 9 brothers and sisters and his parents couldn’t afford good schools. Nobody spoke English where he lived. There was nobody to look up to for inspiration. He sold table-cloth from door to door. But, he said, he was privileged to share ideas with some of the brightest minds in the world, he had been across the globe, worked for some of the most reputed corporations in India and in Italy. Naseer hammered the point home- our past cannot be changed but we can change our future.

The audience did many NLP exercises, they learnt that happiness was a choice, we would not have to fight ‘stress’ if we chose to be happy every day.
Naseer said our beliefs run our lives. The people who commit suicide believe that that is the best option. A farmer takes a loan, can’t repay, and commit suicide. He firmly believes there are no other ways left. But we all re-present the situation according to our own belief systems.
When it comes to our lives, the biggest favour we can do ourselves is to remember Naseer’s advice: Get rid of irrelevant beliefs. The earth is not flat anymore. Cultivate better, constructive and uplifting beliefs.

He also showed the audience the importance of focus. The participants could clearly see how important it is to focus on our strengths and the tasks rather than problems and weaknesses.
These points are just a tiny fraction of what Naseer Khan shared with the 1 STC crowd. It was truly inspiring, elating, and action-packed three hours.
The Commandant Brigadier Moolri thanked Naseer Khan, he said his attention did not wander for even a second during these 3 hours. He added that the army people could benefit a lot from this event called ‘Transformation’.

“Leadership Transformation” was a unique kind of training. I thought it was just amazing to be a part of the camp. There was so much of energy flowing all the time. In the month of November it gets quite cold there, but out entire focus was on what Naseer was teaching us and asking us to do.

There were participants from different parts of the country since Alstone has branches all over; Delhi, Noida, Kochi, Raipur, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Indore, Lucknow, etc.

When the camp started, we were employees from different branches. When the camp finished we were a team, a family. And we had one voice; the howl of a wolf. Yes, we all learnt that from Naseer Khan. One more thing that we started doing frequently during these four days was ‘high fiving’.

Day 1

After some outdoor activities, we gathered for the first day of Naseer’s training. Honestly speaking, we were not extremely excited about the training, we expected some kind of motivational lecture, but Naseer truly blew our minds off. The first day training was a 180 minute “Transformation”.It wasn’t a ‘lecture’ at all. We did many things during the seminar. Many NLP and Hypnosis exercises. Music played an important part in the training. We jumped. We hopped. We cried. We laughed.

We learnt how to develop unshakable confidence. How to choose Belief Systems that are relevant today, that are useful for us. We saw how could handle stress by simply choosing to be happy. We found out the power of positive thinking.

The program was unlike anything I had ever attended, it gets you out of the comfort zone and/or your daily routine to focus in areas of life that the average person who goes about their daily business does not focus.

Day 2

Day 2 was ‘Leadership Transformation’. Naseer showed us in his own unique way what leadership is and why every employee of a company should have it.

We were again totally immersed in it. We saw how the greatest of the leaders went about their work. I realized I didn’t need a title in order to be a leader. I had never been very interested in reading but when I saw how most of the leaders have been avid readers I decided to change and start reading. In fact I bought The Alchemist which Naseer had suggested during the seminar and finished in 2 days. Oh, boy! What a feeling!

We learnt that a leader has to be teachable no matter what point of career he is at. Naseer gave us an acronym; DBA, Dream, Believe and Act. Then he said, “Ask, Seek, Knock”. Of course he took the verses from the Bible but he added his own flavour to it. It was so interesting to hear India’s leading motivational speaker and success coach M Naseer Khan live.

Day 3

Day 3 was ‘Leadership Transformation’ Part II. By far it was the most energizing seminar. We were sitting in the open and cold but each and every one of us was so excited and energized.

Naseer gave examples upon examples, one case study after other in order to prove his point. He said, ‘Knowledge is not power if you don’t apply it’.

We did exercises which taught us how to create energy within us instantly. During ‘Dreams’ sections we set our goals for the next 20 years using NLP and self hypnosis.

Naseer said great leaders are great delegators, for example Steve Jobs. They sell dreams not products. They dare. They love. They walk the talk. They are dependable. And they have a passion for their work, people and company. Naseer showed us why and how ‘honesty’ is the best policy. There are no short cuts. There are no free lunches.
